This year, in light of the ever-increasing food insecurity in our neighbourhoods, our loonies/toonies for Lent will support the Ottawa Food Bank. Throughout the Lenten season, you are invited to contribute by donating a loonie or toonie, or any amount you can, each day. Though this may sound like an insignificant amount, if each of us participates, imagine the difference we could make in the lives of people in Ottawa. Containers to collect your loonies/toonies will be available this Sunday, 15 February 2026 (in the narthex and by the lift) for those who are in church in person. The canisters can be returned on the collection plate up to and including Easter Sunday, or the total you collect can be sent by e-transfer.
